Two “crucial” health projects in Palmerston and Borroloola worth a combined $32 million are being fast-tracked to ease hospital pressures, the Chief Minister has committed as part of another pre-Budget announcement, which the Opposition says is pouring more money into a “broken system”.
The new Palmerston aged care facility and the Borroloola health centre will form part of the NT Government’s $2.2 billion health budget for 2024, up $300 million from two years ago.
