Plasan Sasa Ltd. (“Plasan”) said it plans to increase its commitment to the Australian defence industry and to establish a local subsidiary in Australia to be named “Plasan-Australia”, Yahoo Finance reported. Georgia Nesbitt placed in induced coma after horror crash
Australian rowing champion Georgia Nesbitt has been placed in an induced coma after suffering serious injuries during a cycling event in Hobart on Friday night, 7 news has reported. The eight-time national champion fell from her bike during a criterium race at Tolosa Park and was transported to the hospital via ambulance. She is now in stable condition.

No bird flu in Australia
The highly pathogenic strain of bird flu responsible, called clade 2.3.4.4b H5N1, was not detected in wild migratory birds arriving in Australia from their international migrations between September and December 2022, www.doherty.edu.au reported. Collected samples from 817 migratory birds from September to December last year all returned negative results.
