The Mpwerempwer Aboriginal Corporation has presented its case against Singleton Station to the full bench of the Supreme Court, again challenging the November 2021 approval of the agricultural water licence that would allow Fortune Agribusiness to use 40,000 mega-litres, or 40 billion litres, of water annually at the site.

MAC has also initiated legal action against former minister Kate Worden in the Supreme Court for giving the green light to re-approve the Fortune Agribusiness water license at Singleton Station.
