The Territory Road Policing Division boss Superintendent Daniel Shean allegedly intervened to block his son being investigated and possibly charged for allegedly drink driving, multiple sources have told the NT Independent, while the now former officer has denied the allegations.
The well-placed sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to fear of retribution, told the NT Independent that Mr Shean had been allowed to quietly resign from the force after the incident, which is believed to have occurred in May, and that there would be no action taken against him.
