First off: ‘The Northern Territory attorney-general has announced a proposed racism review into the NT Police Force (NTPF) has been scrapped.’
Any NT Government who does this, based on the Territory’s long and chequered history of racism generally, knows exactly what is in there and doesn’t want it exposed by a racism review. Plain and simple.
Therefore by doing so, you are actively enabling more racism by making sure it is not made public.
But we know that you know that.
In the same way you are enabling more corruption by having your long time friend and confidant, career NT public servant and protector of the powerful Greg Shamahan heading the ICAC office.
He’s still in there by the way, beavering away, making sure corruption is not exposed because that’s what he put in his recommendations and that’s what the ALP and CLP both voted for.
You see, they can adopt recommendations when they want to.
When those recommendations help protect them and their mates.
They can adopt recommendations when they assist a potential offender friend of theirs escape prosecution, when they want to.

They’ve tried locking up all the kids, younger and younger.
They’ve tried sacking the Police Commissioner.
They’ve tried to make sure there is no outside eyes on the NT Police Force.
They’ve tried to convince us that’s it OK to ignore racist Police officers and allow them to still be employed, our tax dollars pay for that in case you all forgot.
They’ve tried to ignore the cronyism and nepotism in the NT Police Force.
They’ve tried announcing more guns in the hands of non-Police members.
They’re tried to tell us that the NT Police Force doesn’t need a racism review like everywhere else in the NT Government arena does.
They’ve tried to sell us Boot Camps as the answer to rehabilitate those violent criminals. Never been tried before, nope, no one has ever thought of that idea previously, nope. A sure fire winner. Not.
They’ve tried to keep force feeding the message that they’re interested in community safety when everyone in the community knows it’s getting worse and less safe.
They’ve tried to tell us arming the public with pepper spray is the answer to the worsening crime problems.
They’re tried to pretend that they alone have all the solutions, instead of listening to experts in the field and taking on their decent and measured and experienced advice.
All of these FAILS are not addressing the causes; they are only band aids hastily placed on the symptoms, which is exactly why they will continue to FAIL.

Are you all nuts, how about publishing a picture of this outrageous coroner delivering her findings withe her rabble rousing antipolice flag, I note the media is hiding this, particularly the ABC. Rolfe should not have to apply for a judicial review the powerless Chief Magistrate and Chief Justice should already have arranged that.

“The severity of Coroner Elizabeth Armitage’s criticism inadvertently highlights how effective the police have safeguarded her privileged position, granting a level of security and comfort that insulates her from the harsh realities faced daily by frontline officers, and more importantly, by countless victims of crime throughout the Northern Territory.”
In his statement Mr. Rolfe said Ms. Armitage had made findings from “a place of safety” while vulnerable communities continue to endure the direct and brutal consequences of violent crime, deserving far more robust policing rather than criticisms rooted criticisms rooted in detachment.”
“The coroner’s infantilisation of indigenous communities does not empower but rather diminishes agency and reinforces depend dependency,” Mr. Rolfe said in his statement.
Lucio t Rolfe was right this whole coronial should be examined by ICAC and Chris should stop blaming Lia for Labor’s missteps. The supreme court jury got it right.
