Two 12-year-olds and a 14-year-old who allegedly stole a car before later stealing fuel and causing damage to “multiple businesses” across the Greater Darwin region and threatening people with a knife, have been arrested and are facing multiple charges, NT Police said.
The 12-year-olds have also been charged for failing to stop after a car crash and being armed with an offensive weapon.
Don’t worry everyone. They are too young to know what they are doing and too young to be held to account. The end result is that they will be turned around to be back on a street near you without delay. This is what youth crime is all about in this day and age. Only the victims pay a price.
