In what media and how many times were the positions advertised and when? How many applications were received for each of the three positions? What were the selection criteria? Was a private sector recruitment Agency involved in the selection process? If so whom and how much were they paid? How on earth could the CEO of the Chief Minister’s Department be an impartial and competent member of the selection panel? Selena Uibo is a dilettante.
Charlie, far from it! Labour knows it just has to sit there and keep its mouth shut while the clearly out of their depth CLP headed by The Most Photographed One does all the work for them. I am seeing the ALP apparatus, glaringly not dismantled by the current CLP, now starting to field candidates for the 2028 election! How much will Territorians spend on Council By Elections in 2028 as the Labour installed councilors attempt to convince Territorians that they are capable of managing the Territory Economy?
Vote NT One Nation for change or no-one is safe living in Darwin as there is no separation of power between politicians, police, the judiciary and senior networked public servants. Welcome to North Korea!
This so called new NT Integrity and Ethics Commission I find underwhelming and it gives me little to no confidence. The keep them happy and uninformed mentaility is failing Territorians as is the substandard excessive secrecy and inadequate transparency in the Northern Territory by our NT Politicians and Senior Executive NT Public Service bureaucrats. Why did around 7,000 employees finish up working in the NT Public Service last year? Why is NT private sector investment and NT population growth sluggish?
The irony is inescapable. Another political miss-step? Parachute in your old mates and diminish any semblance of impartiality. When your independent integrity commission is slammed by well established integrity commissions, its off to a bad start.
