A 28-year-old woman allegedly assaulted a man with an “edged weapon” outside a Tennant Creek residence on Wednesday night in a domestic violence incident before attacking another woman who intervened and fleeing the scene, NT Police said.

Police received reports of the alleged assault around 9pm, leading to police and St John Ambulance attending the scene and conveying the man to the Tennant Creek Hospital with injuries to his leg.
