A 17-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly trespassing at a Lyons home seven times over four days, stealing alcohol, and twice indecently exposing himself, NT Police said.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Chris Humphries alleged that CCTV footage showed that between February 3 and 6 the teen entered a Lyons house on seven different occasions, stealing alcohol and personal items, and indecently exposing himself on several occasions.

He said that on February 6, an adult resident allegedly saw him and intervened in an unspecified way, before the teen left the house.

And at about 8.30pm on February 8, he said Strike Force Trident Detectives were told the teen had just allegedly indecently touched a woman who was exercising in Lyons.

Snr Sgt Humphries said detective “swiftly” found and arrested the teen and he was charged with seven counts of trespass, two counts of aggravated burglary, four counts of theft, two counts of indecent exposure, and one count each of damage to property, indecent touching, and breach of bail.

The alleged offender was remanded over the weekend and was to appear in court on Monday.
