NT Police deployed its drone unit to track a car reportedly driving dangerously around Alice Springs early Wednesday morning resulting in an 18-year-old female being arrested, who allegedly assaulted a police officer during a foot pursuit.

NT Police said they deployed a tyre deflation device on a white Ford Falcon around 1:40am at the Tom Brown roundabout, with the vehicle finally coming to a stop on Telegraph Terrace.
