Occupants in an allegedly stolen car threw rocks at Strike Force Viper members in a police vehicle before ramming another police vehicle, NT Police said.
Commander James Gray-Spence said in a statement that about 8.15pm on Thursday, police received a report of an alleged break-in at a home in Alice Springs suburb The Gap where a dark purple Nissan Qashqai was stolen and later sighted in the CBD being driven recklessly by unknown offenders.

Glad they caught them. The damage done by those A***holes affects the ability of police to respond to other problems. It seems the law treats these crimes as something less than assault in company and criminal damage as no deterrent is given for reoffending.
Wonder how many of them where on bail?.
