NT WorkSafe has charged a Darwin-based solar installation and electrical company and its manager for failing to ensure the safety of its workers while working on the roof of a commercial building in August, which could see the company on the hook for more than $6 million in fines if found guilty.

Mpriza Group was charged with three breaches of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, which included two reckless conduct charges under Section 31 of the Act for failing their primary duty of care under Section 19, and one charge under Section 33 of the Act for failing to comply with their health and safety duty.
