Six people were arrested early Sunday morning in connection to an alleged vehicle theft ring, NT Police said, after “several” stolen vehicles were driven dangerously in the northern suburbs and Palmerston, while more stolen vehicles were located and recovered after tyre spikes were deployed near Adelaide River.
Strike Force Trident detectives reportedly saw “several stolen vehicles” being driven dangerously around 3am Sunday morning, later recovering two stolen cars in Ludmilla with the assistance of the dog unit, police said, but it appears no arrests were made at that time.

So the cops have figured out there’s one road out of Darwin, and when you know the vehicles are heading to the Wadeye area, you can stop and arrest them…in fact, they could stop them on the way to Darwin as they have so little respect / fear of the law they post their intentions prior to heading in. Rocket science it is not.
