A child is believed to have been taken by a crocodile in a remote Northern Territory creek yesterday afternoon, NT Police said.
NT Police Senior Sergeant Erica Gibson said in a statement that the 12-year-old went missing about 5:30pm while swimming in Mango Creek, near the remote community of Palumpa, which is about 235km southwest of Darwin, as the crow flies.
Poor little bub.
Education is the key. If people continue to access dangerous habitats, these tragedies will continue.
Education is not the key! A broad view is the key! It certainly includes education but also includes how culling, hunting (tourism), commercial harvesting, balance of the eco system, our economy, family trauma, and more are incorporated.
