  1. To paraphrase: As we are already the quarry and free lucky dip for whatever foreign corporations wish to line pockets and provide retirement luxury for crooked politicians, to rip-off all and every NT natural resource, the final minor encumbrance of pretend democracy is also to be shredded. Warning: History records no successful autocracies.

Whereas since the days of Administrator Gilruth, Canberra and other ruthless interests who sought to make the NT their playground, Territorians slammed them back on their arses, often establishing national rights, such as forcing protection of the Petrovs, enabling Mino Ella’s wife and children to rejoin him thereby ending the white Australia policy, or scrapping the absurd highway through Fannie Bay. But those were the days of real men and women, who humbled any and all globalist bullies.

Sadly, today’s Territorians are wishy-washy woke plastic people who have no affinity for the Top End, and whose minds are empty buckets into which the ABC and NT News pour their globalist poison. As long as taxpayer-funded media brings them sport and news provided by Disney and Marvel Comics, along with their daily dose of reality TV, they do not care that there soon will be nothing left for their children.
