  1. Anything that upsets the HRC and the Criminal Lawyers Association has got to be a step in the right direction, they are both full of Left wing flogs.

  2. This wouldn’t be required if the courts weren’t so out of touch to community attitudes to sentencing.

We are all aware of the Suspended Sentence merry-go-round where criminals on suspended sentences are caught committing further crimes and are given an additional suspended sentence on top of their other previous suspended sentences.

  3. ‘“Courts are best placed to weigh up all of the relevant circumstances to impose an appropriate penalty.”

    Problem is they don’t.

  4. Spitting is disgusting. If an offender spits into someone’s eyes there is significant risk of infection and serious diseases. This results in a lot of stress and disruption to the life of workers. In the case of police officers that are trying to subdue a violent offender, they are unable to pause and wash the filth from their faces.

  5. Obviously the HRC mob are not frontline workers or they would understand the distress caused by the actions of those few few who think it’s ok to spit on workers. Many years ago one of my workers was trying to help a drunken individual and copped spit in the eye from that person. I took him straight to KDH for assistance as we knew the lady was carrying some not nice bugs. Doctor told him no sex for 3 months until his final tests were in. Poor lad had only been married 2 months.

  6. Australian Human Rights Commission? mmmmm sounds like an anti law enforcment, lefty woke organisation.

If they are against it then give me five thanks.
