The NT Police Association president has said his members deserve to know how much money former police commissioner Jamie Chalker’s secret payout will take off the agency’s operational budget, adding it was concerning the Police Minister said she did not know how much he was given.

New president Nathan Finn said in a statement it was unacceptable the union’s members and the public were being kept in the dark over funds that will impact the police budget bottom line.
