Four vehicles were allegedly set on fire in Katherine early Thursday morning, with police calling for anyone with information to come forward.
Police said shortly before 5am, emergency crews were called to a building’s carpark on Bernhard Street where two vehicles were on fire. Two other vehicles parked nearby on the same street were also reportedly ablaze.
NT Fire and Rescue extinguished the fires and no injuries were reported.

“Crime scenes have been established for all four vehicle fires as police continue to investigate the matter,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Byron May.
“Police are urging anyone who may have CCTV footage of suspicious behaviour in the vicinity of the incidents at the time or has any knowledge of the circumstances to contact police on 131 444 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference number 10256324.”
