Serious Crime detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify two men in connection to a January 19 street fight in the Darwin CBD that involved an aggravated assault, NT Police said.

The fight involving “a group of males” occurred just before midnight on January 19, near the intersection of Peel Street and Shadforth Lane.

Police did not report the incident publicly after it occurred and the extent of injuries suffered by any of the individuals involved in the fight was not released.

Police said they believed the two men in the images can “assist with enquiries”.

“Detectives from Serious Crime have been investigating since the incident occurred and are seeking information on the identities of the two males in the attached images, who police believe can assist with enquiries,” a police statement said.

“Anyone who has information relating to the identity of the males or who witnessed the incident is urged to contact Police on 131 444 or CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote reference number NTP2400007383.”
