We are in a precarious position since Blacktip field started to reach its end. It appears that this source of gas failing was never considered. We have supposedly been paying for more gas than we were using and the pipeline was extended to Mt Isa to use the excess. This makes a mockery of Labor plans to become an energy and mineral powerhouse (no pun intended) Not only are they failing to keep us safe but are flat out keeping the lights on.
