Police are looking for an 16-year-old Alice Springs girl who has not been seen since Wednesday night.

NT Police director of communications Mark Wilton said in a statement the teen, Sheila Armstrong, was last seen at her Sadadeen home about 8pm on Wednesday.

She is described as being Aboriginal, 157cm tall, with a small build, and was wearing a long black hoodie with a Champion logo on the front, and long pants.

“Shelia’s family and police hold concerns for her welfare,” he said.
