UPDATED: NT Police have arrested a man in connection to a stabbing in Moulden on Friday morning that sent the victim to hospital.
Police had sought help from the public earlier Friday to identify the suspect.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Andrew Kren said about 6am a man was stabbed with an unspecified weapon on Melastoma Drive.
He said the offender fled after police arrived, and St John Ambulance took the victim to Royal Darwin Hospital with serious arm injuries.
Around 1:30pm, police issued a statement to say they had arrested a 24-year-old man in relation to the stabbing a “short time ago”.
“Police would like to thank the members of public who provided vital information,” Snr Sgt Kren said.
“Investigations continue and the victim remains in a stable condition at Royal Darwin Hospital.”
