Police are looking for witnesses to a man being attacked with an ‘edged weapon’ by a group of youths outside a Darwin home, which left him in hospital, NT Police said.
Police director of communications Mark Wilton said in a statement that about 9pm last Wednesday, a group of youths allegedly assaulted a man with an edged weapon outside of a home in Mahogany Crescent, Karama.
He said the victim had been leaving the home when the group attacked him, and he was injured with the weapon, and taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital.
Police are asking that anyone who witnessed the attack, or have CCTV of the attack to call them on 131 444, or report information anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
