Police hunt man who allegedly exposed himself to children in Alice Springs

The Northern Territory Police are calling for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly exposed himself to two children in the East Side yesterday.

The children were playing in a residential backyard at around 12:45 pm when the incident happened.

Detectives from Alice Springs Tactical Investigations Group believe the person depicted in the attached image may be able to assist with investigations. Authorities urge the public to help identify this person.

The male offender is described as being of aboriginal appearance with a dark complexion and shoulder length black hair. He was wearing a grey t-shirt with dark red sleeves, khaki shorts, brown shoes, and a brown baseball cap.

 “This sort of behavior will not be tolerated,” said Plain Clothes Constable First Class Brett Geranios. “We would like to reassure the public we are doing everything we can to identify and locate this man. We need assistance from the public and ask anyone with information to come forward.”

NT Police said that anyone who has seen the offender can contact them at 131 444 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
