EXCLUSIVE: Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro’s husband and senior public servant Sam Burke said he wanted to “plow” his car into a group of Palestinian supporters at a peaceful Darwin protest in 2024, the NT Independent can reveal.
Revelations of Mr Burke’s past comments come in the wake of the vehicular attack on federal politician Helen Haines who had both legs amputated and was nearly killed after a man drove his vehicle into her outside her electorate office in country Victoria two weeks ago. The shocking incident sparked a national discussion about the need to “turn the temperature down” on political discourse.

Would he have been the only person to ever dislike these terrorist supporters?
