A woman has been killed after she was hit by a vehicle in Alice Springs on Monday night, NT Police said.
Watch Commander Andrew Dunne told the NT News the 48-year-old female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle heading into town on Gap Rd, near Alice Springs Hospital about 9pm.
The woman was taken to hospital where she died soon after, he said.
