There must be a public register of these incidents where people walk out on the road and end in fatalities and critical incidents!

Whilst it is unimaginable pain for the families of the deceased/seriously injured, the charges of manslaughter and legal costs defending the charges must be stressfull for the driver.

This is a very common phenomena in the NT and it needs to be formally addressed by the courts!!
