CLP Leader Lia Finocchiaro’s chief of staff is departing the role she has held for over a year to run the CLP’s election campaign, with the chief of staff role to be filled by a party figure who quit the CLP last year over the membership’s position on the Voice referendum.
Current chief of staff Alyson Hannam, who has overseen the gutting of staff on the fourth floor – including seeing senior policy advisers moved on – will take on the CLP campaign manager role next week, less than five months before the August general election.

Whatever happens we need to clean the house from top to bottom.
How many stories have you done that include the three words Lea Finocchiaro , Staff, Quit?
The words “ultimately defeated” implies there was long discussion, there was not. A couple of noisy malcontents who don’t know their head from their backside were soundly defeated by every other person in the room.
Poor old Clipclop party, Stone cold to history and driven in a hart historical corner. So many yucks here.
