Two officers have been given national bravery awards for their heroic actions during violent rioting at Wadeye, bravery that was suppressed as part of a cover-up of the extent of the violence by both the NT Police and the Fyles Government, which had led to more than 400 people being left homeless during the “humanitarian situation”.
NT Police constables Aaron Larsen and Deborah Bradley each received a National Police Bravery Award on Tuesday night, which NT Police Association president Nathan Finn said recognised bravery of the highest order.
