While calling the NT Government’s new water security plan “a step in the right direction”, the Environmental Defenders Office NT is questioning whether the government can achieve its stated goals while key details of the plan are missing.
The NT Government announced the new $13.5 million water plan on Thursday, which it called a “package of actions … for delivering water security for all Territorians now and into the future”.
Won’t be long before they put water meters on rural area bores.
