Informa Connect Australia has opened this year’s NT Resource Week with the 29th Annual South East Asia Australia Offshore & Onshore Conference (SEAAOC) at the Darwin Convention Centre.
A trade expo, coinciding with the NT Resource Week—NT’s largest resource industry conference—will see more than 50 exhibitors from the mining, oil and gas industry, contractors, suppliers and government.
The expo is the premier showcase for leading technology, innovative solutions, services and so much more. The trade show provides the rare opportunity to converse with industry professionals, experts and decision-makers, try out new products, build partnerships and spark new ideas.
Guests attending the conference will be able to browse the stands and displays during the two-day conference.
The expo allows exhibitors to target three industries for the price of one, and there are a lot of cross-over sponsors and exhibitors between the three conferences who can benefit from this opportunity.
Top companies joining the exhibit include Santos, Core Lithium, Inpex, Glencore and McArthur River Mining, Newmont, Avenira Ltd, Altrad, the Charles Darwin University and the Energy and Resources Institute, NT Indigenous Business Network, MMC and Tennant Minerals, among many others.
This year’s SEAAOC conference centres on energy security for the Territory, Australia, and the South East Asia region, and will explore key themes such as Australia’s energy transition and ambitions to develop a clean energy supply chain, along with critical minerals development.
Two other conferences—the 17th Annual Mining the Territory Conference, and the fourth annual Environmental Management & Decarbonisation Forum—will also be held during the event.
The Mining the Territory Conference will discuss operational and development insights from existing and near-term mines; government views on sector development, growth strategies, and ongoing initiatives; updates from NT’s prospective explorers and geological experts, and the opportunities for critical minerals in the NT.
Key issues will also be taken up in an Environmental Management & Decarbonisation Forum that brings together environmental practitioners and members of the resources industry to showcase ways for the mining and onshore gas sectors to better manage their environmental impact, while also supporting stakeholder engagement and regional development.
