A Territory police officer has been arrested in Alice Springs and charged with two counts of rape in relation to alleged sexual assaults that occurred in 2024, NT Police said.

The 52-year-old male officer was remanded today to appear in Alice Springs Local Court tomorrow, June 12, to face two counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
