NT Police continue to search for three criminals who cut off their electronic monitoring devices and escaped from a Barkly work camp in Tennant Creek on Saturday night.

Police are warning the public not to approach the men, who police believe are on their way to Darwin in either a 1996 Nissan Navara or a white 2005 Holden Rodeo dual-cab ute.

Ezra Austral (23), Richard Henwoon (37) and Mazimus Cutta (20) allegedly left the facility around 11:30pm Saturday night after removing their monitoring devices.

Police said they set up road blocks on Sunday between Tennant Creek and Katherine and have been searching for the trio since Saturday night with all resources available, including utilising the Territory Response Group, Crime Command and general duty officers.

“We ask the community to be on the lookout for the three men and the vehicles they are believed to be travelling in,” said Territory Duty Superintendent Mark Malogorski.

“Any sightings or other information should be reported immediately on 131 444. The men should not be approached.”

Police believe the men are travelling towards Darwin in either a silver 1996 Nissan Navara two-door trayback ute with NT registration CD95HC or in a white 2005 Holden Rodeo dual-cab ute with WA plates.
