After initially appearing to state the public will no longer be informed of serious sexual assaults, Assistant Police Commissioner Travis Wurst changed tack this morning, claiming the NT Police’s failure to publicly report a violent sexual assault at Casuarina Square last week was due to an agency “oversight”.
NT Police told only state media, the NT News, about the incident that allegedly involved a female employee at the shopping centre being confronted by a man last Friday after exiting a toilet cubicle who reportedly pushed her back inside, locked the door and told her he was going to strangle and rape her.
New commissioner and no change. All out on a wild Jovi hunt at Peppimenarti. Would be easier to
A. Herd cats. Or…
B. Organise a hunting trip
That was just a PR stunt to kick off Labour’s election campaign. They arrested a few but probably bailed by now in Darwin with a Get out of jail free card and on their way back to Peppi in their newly acquired Toyotas.
Bring on the election, these imbeciles – aka fyles(gunner)labor lites – have to go… typical lazy parasites….????????
