Palmerston‘s NT PGA Championship is back as part of the PGA Tour of Australasia and will be televised for the first time, while the Finocchiaro Government is taking credit for the broadcast but has not disclosed the costs to taxpayers.

Palmerston Golf and Country Club Club general manager Matt Hewer said the last NT round of the PGA Championship was in 2023, with the event not happening last year, as the club and its course underwent a major redevelopment.
