The NT Government awarded 26 tenders to a total value of $3.5 million in the last week, including $349,000 for consultancy for Power and Water’s “enterprise strategic direction and planning” to KPMG Australia – the same firm who received $100,000 last week for consultancy for a “drive tourism strategy”.
The largest tender awarded this week was $1.2 million to Mak Mak Construction for site inspection and civil works at the Walangurrminy Community in Litchfield.
Another notable contract was $79,000 to Cathara Consulting for a business analyst for four months.
A number of contracts awarded this week were awarded as panel arrangements or schedule of rates. The NT Government Tenders website states that “Panel arrangements or Schedule of Rates contracts are based on an estimated level of supply. For this reason they are indicative only and are not representative of actual individual contract values.” Those contracts have been colored blue in the table below.
In total, 20 contracts totalling almost $3.2 million were awarded to NT based businesses, and six contracts worth $388,000 went to non-local enterprises.
