The NT Government awarded 31 tenders to a total value of $14.49 million in the last week, including $100,000 to KPMG for a consultancy to “drive tourism strategy” in Darwin and and $32,000 to Rhino Industrial for the Victoria River Research Station for supply and delivery of cattle troughs, water tanks and fittings.
Another contract was $109,158 to Australian Piping Solutions to replace the reservoir liner at the Territory Wildlife Park and almost $5 million divided amongst three businesses to delivery, install, repair and perform maintenance on multi-function IT devices for three years.
A number of contracts awarded this week were awarded as panel arrangements or schedule of rates. The NT Government Tenders website states that “Panel arrangements or Schedule of Rates contracts are based on an estimated level of supply. For this reason they are indicative only and are not representative of actual individual contract values.” Those contracts have been colored blue in the table below.
While another contract was $20,286 awarded to Corporate Design Floors Darwin to resurface the dance floor at Palmerston College’s Rosebery campus.
In total, 30 contracts totalling $14.43 million were awarded to NT based businesses, and one contract worth $63,000 went to non-local enterprises.
