Flood victims from Kalkarindji, Daguragu and Pigeon Hole will be sent back home to live in temporary emergency accommodation after being displaced for almost two months due to flooding, the NT Government said on Friday.
The demountable “pods”, as the Fyles Government calls the dongas, cost $400,000 each and will come in varied designs with lockable bedrooms, shared living, cooking, laundry space and covered breezeways.
