The NT Fight Series returns for its sixth edition, showcasing the NT’s first-ever world title fight event and other Muay Thai matches this Saturday.

Established by Joe ‘Astro’ Rodrigues and Andy Price on Australia Day in 2019, the NT Fight Series has evolved into a prominent event showcasing fighters from Australia and around the globe, including Nepal, Thailand, and Canada.

Saturday’s event is particularly special as the World Boxing Council has sanctioned the title fight between Australian Zoe Putorak and Canadian Kendall Stewart, in addition to several Muay Thai matches featuring local competitors.

The fight card boasts 11 fights in total and will take place at Ventia Stadium (Marrara Indoor basketball Stadium) at 6 pm Saturday.

“Every event we do we sell out, so we have to keep going for bigger and bigger venues every year,” Price told the NT News.

He added the sport is among the fastest growing in the world, and is hugely popular in the Territory.

“Events like these are what Darwin deserves,” he said.

General entry tickets and VIP seats are available by calling 0407 188 127 or visit the NT Fight Series Facebook page.
