Sentinel Property Group has applied to build a microbrewery and pub at Casuarina Square as part of a $10 million revitalisation plan for “The Quarter” entertainment precinct.
The enhancements will include enclosing the precinct to transform The Quarter into a climate-controlled environment that will involve demolishing the current roof structure, play equipment, an empty tenancy, and the Trower Road planter boxes, if the company’s application is approved by the Development Consent Authority.
Is there really a solution to the antisocial behaviour that is the blight of Casuarina square. It seems that we never solve the problem but merely shift it elsewhere when law enforcement is beefed up in one area and weakened in others.
