Nicole Hurwood has been appointed as the Commissioner for Public Employment, a promotion from her role as a deputy chief executive officer in NT Health.
In a statement Public Employment Minister Selena Uibo said Ms Hurwood was selected after a national recruitment process, and will begin in the role on Monday but did not say how long her contract was for.

She said more recently Ms Hurwood has been supporting NT Health through “their system realignment project, including organisational redesign and change management”.
