A new state-of-the-art $80 million data centre in Darwin that will utilise domestic and subsea cables to securely connect and support data storage in the NT and internationally, ultimately improving the NT’s digital economy, has officially opened.
Data centre provider NEXTDC unveiled the new facility, called D1, on Wednesday, that was developed in partnership with Vocus and the NT Government.

Would have needed a new power feed from the substation next to Harbourview plaza.
How can that get a whole data centre for only 80m. Need let let the NTG know.
