An adventure tour company owned by Matt and Kaia Wright that crashed an airboat last year ejecting all 13 passengers onboard and injuring eight, including one passenger who suffered a fractured skull, has been charged with various offences by NT WorkSafe, along with its directors.

Top End Safari Camp Pty Ltd is facing $4 million in penalties and its directors, Matt Wright and Kaia Wright, are each facing $700,000 fines for allegedly operating their airboat named “Gale Force” without any seatbelts, lifejackets, a lifebuoy or a first-aid kit onboard and with a broken radio.
