A man suffered serious injuries after allegedly being hit in the back with a three-pronged spear during a “large disturbance” involving about 100 people in Wadeye, NT Police said, which follows the recent arrest of 13 people stemming from a series of alleged violent acts and property offences in the community since the start of August.

Yesterday, NT Police said in a press release that those people who were arrested on Saturday were facing more than 50 charges for alleged offences over about six weeks, with details of three riots and some of the other alleged crimes still not made public.
