A 40-year-old man was killed Monday in an “off road buggy” crash on a property in Girraween, NT Police said, but two children involved were unhurt in the fatal crash.

Emergency services received a call reporting the off-road buggy crash around 11:20am Monday morning, involving the adult male and two youths.

Police and St John Ambulance attended the scene of the crash on the Girraween property and commenced CPR on the 40-year-old male, however he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Both youths were uninjured and did not require further medical assistance,” police said in a statement.

Police provided no further details about the crash, but said a report was being prepared for the coroner.
