A Docker River man has been charged for allegedly breaking into five licensed businesses, and later assaulting his partner, NT Police have said.
NT Police media manager Margaret McKeown said in a statement, Strike Force Viper investigators arrested the man in Alice Springs on Friday.
She said police will allege the man broke into four licensed premises in Alice Springs and one in Yulara between December and January.

While he allegedly assaulted his female partner in Docker River earlier this month.
Ms McKeown said the man was charged with one count of aggravated assault, being armed with an offensive weapon, five counts each of damage to property, unlawful entry to a building, stealing, and two counts of possessing house breaking implements.
The man will appear in the Alice Springs Local Court on Monday, she said.
