A 28-year-old man has been arrested and is facing charges in connection to suspicious behaviour last week in Malak, where a young boy was approached by an unknown man near a park who allegedly tried to get him in a vehicle, NT Police said.

Detectives from the Child Abuse Taskforce apprehended the male suspect yesterday and charged him with a single count of engaging in conduct to procure sexual activity with a child under 16 years. He was due to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
