A group of offenders broke into a Coconut Grove home and threw “items” at the sole occupant before stealing his car, but the group returned the next day and again assaulted the man and stole more items, NT Police said.
Police director of communications Mark Wilton said that about 10:20pm on Friday a group of offenders – the number of people involved was not specified – broke into a home in Hart Court, Coconut Grove, and threw items at the sole occupant, a 65-year-old man, before stealing a number of small items and then stealing his car, which was later found abandoned.
He said at noon the next day the same offenders returned to the home and again assaulted the man before stealing small items
