One person was taken to hospital with cuts to his back and three others were arrested after a machete fight through the Alice Springs CBD on Friday afternoon, NT Police said, while other offenders remain at large.

Police were notified that several people were fighting on Gregory Terrace, Todd Street, the Council lawns and in the Todd Mall around 12:50pm Friday, with reports indicating some of the group were armed with machetes and throwing rocks at one another.
