Darwin’s best shot to become a millionaire has returned for 2022, with Rotary Club of Darwin bringing back its ‘Million Dollar Hole in One’ competition which invites the public to score themselves a seven-digit bank account if they can hit a hole in one at the Garden Parks Golf Links course.

Rotary Club of Darwin is inviting local organisations and businesses to be part of this year’s competition by hosting a night. A unique and exclusive opportunity available to only eleven local businesses, this tax-deductable sponsorship is a great way to thank and acknowledge your clients or your team with a fully hosted night on the green, whilst also raising vital funds for local charities.

Hosting a night costs $6000 (GST exclusive), and $4000 of that total is tax deductible. What you get from sponsoring a night include:

  • A fully hosted evening for up to ten clients or staff to attend your sponsored night and take part in the competition and shoot for the million-dollar hole in one.
  • Food and drinks supplied for the duration of the event. Including alcoholic beverages.
  • Opportunity to win awards and prizes for longest drive, nearest to the pin and other prize categories!
  • You are welcome to invite friends and family as guests, who are provided a free game of mini golf.
  • A dedicated corporate area for players and guests.
  • Opportunity to put up marketing collateral on the night of the competition, including banners, posters, or any other type of branded material.
  • Acknowledgement of sponsorship across the event’s Facebook Page and the Million Dollar Hole in One website.
  • Opportunity to be involved with ongoing promotional media opportunities.

The competition will run weekly on Wednesdays from April 27th to July 6th. With only 11 dates available we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

How the competition works:

Every Wednesday from April 27 – July 6, the public will have the opportunity to score themselves a place in the Grand Final night on Friday July 13th, where they will tee-off in hopes to win a million dollars. Participants will tee-off from the first hole of the Garden Parks Golf Links course, which is roughly 140 metres from start to finish and has a large body of water dividing it.
